Protogé and Slaughter were early experiments in Fanzine Design and Layout, borrowing hugely (or even entirely!) from my Favourite early 'zines - 'Sniffin' Glue' and 'Ripped and Torn'. Consequently, only about 10 copies of each were ever printed, and were either given away to friends or put on the counter at Nasty's. Necrology 'zine would see the realisation of a more 'serious' attempt later, but these early versions were essential in getting to that stage. They exemplify (literally!) the cut and paste Aesthetic, consisting almost entirely of Pictures of The Sex Pistols, Clash etc. As hommage to those early days, here they are... Steve (Cut Throat)
